How to take portrait photography

I found this on Wikihow.
It's a pretty good article for basic portrait photography.
There are a bunch of articles on photography on the site. You can either go there, www.wikihow.com, or I will be posting them here from time to time. Also running it on page 5A of Sunday's Daily Home

Sooooo....... Tell me a little about yourself.

No, this post is not about pick-up lines. We want to know about you. Tell us a little about yourself. What got you into photography? What type of photography are you into? Do you have any influences? If so, who are they?

We want everybody to have a chance to tell about their experiences in the world of photography. What better way to do that than to tell people about what made you get into photography, or who inspires you? You might just help inspire someone else.
